A SAN Model of effect of cyber-attacks on reliability of a 2-channel software system

Popov, P. T. A SAN Model of effect of cyber-attacks on reliability of a 2-channel software system

Abstract

This software takes a particular view on modelling the effects of cyber-attacks on reliability of compromised software: each successful malicious demand adds a set of failure regions to the compromised software. These failure regions increase software's probability of failure. The model also implements maintenance policies - patching and "cleansing (known in literature as "self - cleansing"). The model implements a 2-channel on-demand software and offers different options for applying cyber-attacks to the channels of the system, which range from independent to synchronised attacks on the attacks on the channels. The model can be run in Mobius v. 2.4.
