Abstract

Three plays from a series of seven plays about the effect of oil on the post-war world. These three cover the British response to the nationalisation of oil by Iran in 1951; the battles to control OPEC during the 1970s; and the struggle to create the coalition that fought the First Gulf War and thus prevent Saddam Hussein from control 70% of the world's oil.
