Ams, M., Pal, A., Williams, R.J. , Sen, R., Withford, M.J., Sun, T. & Grattan, K. T. V. (2014). Fibre Bragg Grating Sensors for Radiation Insensitive Measurements. Paper presented at the OECC/ACOFT 2014, 06-07-2014 - 10-07-2014, Melbourne, Australia.

Abstract

The response of fibre optic-based sensors exposed to gamma radiation is presented. This study shows that suitable fibre Bragg grating sensors exhibit a saturated radiation induced shift < 20 pm after 16 MRad of exposure
