Abstract

Howard Skempton: a 70th birthday celebration Howard Skempton is one of the most influential and distinguished of living British composers. In a wide-ranging tribute to this remarkable composer, pianist Ian Pace traces influences from Erik Satie through to the present day, including a new commission from Skempton himself.
