Abstract

This file contains a refined dataset from an export using the Altmetric Explorer. The data  is the result of a search using the Altmetric Explorer application for mentions in the last year of articles published in the 5 journals with "comics" in the journal title currently tracked by Altmetric: Journal Of Graphic Novels & ComicsImageTexT: Interdisciplinary Comics StudiesStudies In ComicsThe Comics Grid: Journal Of Comics ScholarshipComics Buyer's Guide The data was obtained on Thursday 18 December 2014 12:00 GMT. The data reflects the time period selected and the time of collection. Previous and future reports are likely to differ. The data was refined only for consistency; no figures were altered. Columns corresponding to Altmetric-specific metadata (URLs) were removed for readability. One entry was removed from the original exported data due to anomalous metadata. This dataset contains 43 bibliographic references from 3 different journals and their respective metrics.The data reflects Altmetric's methods of collection and tracking.
