Abstract

The author is with the Central Electricity Research Laboratories (C. E. R. L. ) Leatherhead, of the Central Electricity Generating Board (C. E. G. B. ) In October 1974 he was registered with The City University to undertake research leading eventually to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The author's research was carried out during the registration period and has also been reported in the following C. E. G. B. Publications: - 1. Nelson, R.
